The Dawn Connection
Safety guidelines
Every Sunup Diet member accepts these four rules before joining or creating a pod. They apply on the pavement and in every message.
High-Visibility Gear
Wear reflective layers, a small clip light and light-colored shoes. Assume drivers cannot see you before sunrise.
The Buddy Check-in Protocol
First meetings happen with the full pod in a public place. If only one other walker shows up, reschedule or move to a busier location.
Active Route Sharing
Share your planned route and expected return time with someone at home. Stay on lit, populated pavements and avoid isolated shortcuts.
Emergency Contacts
Keep local emergency services and a trusted contact one tap away. In any emergency, call local services before reporting in-app.
